Before your procedure, make sure you eat a good breakfast and drink something. This reduces the risk of lightheadedness during your treatment.

Avoid using Retin-A two days before and after treatment.

For two weeks before treatment, avoid taking anti-inflammatory or blood thinning medications. Certain medications and supplements, including aspirin, vitamin E, ginkgo biloba, ginseng, St. John's Wort, Omega 3/Fish Oil supplements, Ibuprofen, Motrin, Advil, Aleve, and others, can thin the blood and increase the risk of bruising and swelling following injections.
After Treatment:
